Women’s Health

As women age and enter each different stage of life, they face varying health conditions. At EU Meds, we have a range of treatments specially created to treat a variety of women’s health conditions. From thrush to PCOS, our first-class service is here to help women with their health concerns and worries.

Contraceptive Pill
Commonly referred to as ‘The Pill’, women’s oral contraceptive tablets are effective at preventing pregnancy when taken once a day.
Morning After Pill
The morning after pill is an emergency contraceptive, taken after unprotected sex to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
Alternative Contraceptives
If taking the hormonal pill every day doesn’t suit you then one of our alternative contraceptive methods may be a better option.
Period Delay Tablets
You can successfully delay the beginning of your period to better fit with your lifestyle and to avoid your period causing you any inconvenience.
Thrush Treatment
Thrush is a common yeast infection that affects the vulva and vagina. Although harmless, it can be uncomfortable.
Bacterial Vaginosis Treatment
Bacterial vaginosis (also known as BV) is the most common kind of bacterial vaginal infection in the UK and produces symptoms such as vaginal discharge.
PCOS & Infertility

PCOS, which stands for polycystic ovary syndrome, is a condition that affects hormone levels in women. It causes them to produce more male hormones than they normally would. Women with PCOS often don’t have periods and can also find it hard to get pregnant. Unfortunately, PCOS is not currently curable, however, it is treatable.

Hormone Replacement Therapy

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a treatment option that is used to help replenish a woman’s hormones as they begin to drop when she approaches menopause. This can effectively relieve menopause symptoms. Symptoms of menopause include hot flushes, mood swings, a reduced sex drive and more.

Period Pain Relief

During the menstrual cycle, women often experience a number of different symptoms. Symptoms include changes to sex drive and appetite, increased amounts of oil on the hair and skin, as well as mood swings. The most common side effect is abdominal pain, also known as period pain.

Cystitis Treatment

Cystitis is a common urinary tract infection (UTI) that usually affects women, although some men can experience it too. It is not a sexually transmitted infection, however being sexually active can increase your chances of contracting it. While Cystitis is not usually considered serious, it can cause pain and discomfort.

Hirsutism Treatment

Excessive facial hair growth in a female is known as facial hirsutism. It affects 1 in 10 women in the UK and, despite its prevalence, can cause psychological effects such as self-consciousness and stress. The most common area for extra hair growth is the face, although it can also occur on the chest, lower stomach and lower back. Most women decide to try and treat this condition, and EU Meds offers treatment options to do so.
